In this Gallery you can find samples of all the other laser engraved wood products we have, like wood product tags, wood wedding invitations, wood birthday invitations, wood patriotic albums, wood signs, wood thank you cards, wood announcement cards and so much more.
Of course, the list is not full and we welcome all custom wood engraving projects.
We use laser engraving on veneer wood. Veneer wood products are about as thick as good quality paper products. They’re durable but flexible.
Depending on the project though, we also work with 1/8”, 1/4” or other thickness of real wood.
Besides engraved wood business cards, wood travel photo albums and wedding stationery, we offer wood stationery for birthdays or baby showers, offer wood door signs, product tags, patriotic albums, other custom engraved wood albums, announcement cards, membership cards, wood magnets and personalized engraved wood postcards, just to mention a few. We love customizing so do not hesitate to contact us with any request!
These wood products do not have added color, which some may see as a disadvantage, but we believe it just gives them even more natural characteristics. We use laser engraving and cutting to add the design to them. This gives their “burnt” look.
Currently we offer 9 wood species for veneer wood projects: aspen, maple, cherry, birch, birdseye maple, oak, walnut, eastern and western cedar.
For projects with thicker real wood, we offer maple, cherry, birch, poplar, oak, mahogany and walnut.
Some of these wood species has more contrast between the engraved surface and the wood itself, like aspen, cherry or oak, some of them, like birch has less. Some of them has richer wood grain, some has less characteristic grain. Porous woods, such as oak and walnut do not engrave as well due to the open grain on the surface of the wood. Engraving on a dark wood like walnut, may not appear as legible as compared to lighter colored wood species.
It is very interesting and important to know that variation in color, figure and other natural characteristics including thickness, translucency, texture, grain pattern, wood knots, amount of grain and color, including within the same wood specie, can occur.
Wood products are eco-friendly, natural and last but not least, they smell amazing!
